Published enterprise analytics products may be either certified or uncertified. Certified products have been subjected to a broader scope of review, adhere to stricter development standards, and provide more detailed documentation. Uncertified products have undergone a more limited review and have fewer requirements for documentation. Certification status does not necessarily indicate the quality of a specific product, but users can generally be more confident in certified products due to increased scrutiny and review.

Enterprise analytics products have a security badge that conveys the highest data security classification (green, yellow, red, or purple) of any university data within the product, in accordance with the Data Management Regulation, Reg 08.00.03. Green content may be shared while yellow and red content may NOT be shared without data steward approval. Purple data should never be present in an enterprise analytics product.
